A picture tells a thousand word.

What story does this picture tell you?

This picture is more like a book. I has many different verses and tunes. I have some blank pages, but there are many short memories that rush in.

How about sharing a tune or two?

Bill Koch worked at the sporting goods store in Alamosa. Dad would stop off at the store and purchase his hunting supplies there. He was friends with Bill. They would talk a bit and then we would be on our way. I never realized that Bill was our friend at time, I just thought that dad was an outgoing guy that liked to talk to him.

One day, Betty and I went over to visit with Ruth and Bill in front of their camper at the cabin. They told us about the day they eloped. Apparently, the sherif of San Luis was shot and killed that day and was being displayed in an open coffin. They had to tell us all about it. They were quite a pair, Ruth and Bill.

Bill did enjoy the area up by the cabin.

I am sorry, I have no additional information on Sara Ellen Harsley Harmon. Perhaps one of the other members of the blog can respond.
